I've been waiting for this day since we first visited a little over a year ago, and it finally happened! We're officially Villagers--and we have the i.d. cards and golf cart to prove it!
We closed on our house on 11/6 and moved in the next day.
We're just about all moved in--although we're still waiting for living room and dining room furniture to be delivered and we have boxes in the garage still needing to be unpacked, but we're here and living the dream!
Our move was made much easier by the help and advice on these boards. Before we even arrived, we knew where to shop, where to kennel our dog, the pros and cons of just about every style home, and a whole list of other things. Whenever I had a question, I just popped in here and did a search. Thank you to everyone on these boards for sharing your knowledge. I'm hoping that I'll be able to join in occasionally with a little advice of my own from time to time.
It's great to finally be official Villagers. We're hoping to meet some of you in person one day soon!
