One way to start the process is to call the Warrany Dept of The Villages. If they say you have Oakridge tiles you "may" have the defective ones. Then
call the original installer (warranty Dept will provide name) have them test the tiles on your house. They will take a couple of tiles and send them to Owens Corning for agreement they are the defective ones.
Once that has been done and assuming they are defective ones the fun starts as Owens Corning may give credit to the tile supplier and tell you that you must pay for the installation which can run $5,550 for labor +. Why they expect the home owner to pay for the major repair costs of a defective product they have had installed on your house is allegedly "outrages". I believe this is the where the POA has considered backing the home owner's and helping to do something about it?
