In each brand. Let's do the math on your par car. From April 2012 till now is 19 months use. 19 months times 30 days per month is 570 days. You use the cart 597 hours over 570 days.
Just a little more than one hour use per day. That is low use. My par car batteries came with a 18 months, full replacement under warranty, parts and labor. From 19 to 36 months a pro rated warranty not to exceed 500 hours of use.

I hope this helps. Did you purchase from the local Par Car dealer? Did you get a warranty?
Yes, we purchased the cart from the Par Car dealer and we also have the same warranty on the batteries. Unfortunately we are out of warranty and the new batteries would still cost $900+. I also thought this was low usage and it is kind of frustrating to think we would need to spend that kind of money every year and a half. I guess we will wait to see what they tell us when they check them out next week.

Thank you, your answer did help and is much appreciated.
