I belonged to a church of true believers, and became disenchanted because they would correct my views, and then do something horrible. One guy wwho was an elder, told me I wasn't interpreting a passage in the bible correctly, and his wife was an agnostic. Another woman scolded me one day for something minor, and she was sleeping with half of the congregation. Go figure.
How can one live like that and not know they are only giving lip service to GOD.
I think we all try to be best we can, but we are all sinners, and need GOD's salvation.

Yes, I understand your feelings about those that are in the church and will say & do things contrary to Christ's teachings. I've seen it also. I learned a very good lesson yrs ago, that as Christians we need to stop looking and listening to people and keep our eyes, ears, hearts and minds "stayed on God", read the Bible daily,and stay in constant prayer. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. :-) (there's alot of wolves in sheeps clothing in churches so those who are truly seeking God's will in their lives, must be very discerning)
