Gracie's done a great job and to emphasize what she said, "Old Florida" is dark woods. So is Caribbean, if you gone into some of the fine old houses on the islands. The more important thing is to consider the scale of the room. The rooms in TV, at least in all but premier homes, seem to call for smaller scale furniture that doesn't overpower the space.
