I thought it was messy too when we had moved into our place and there were other homes still being build nearby. We had a lot of building products in front and back yard every day along with fast food cups, trays etc.

We usually picked up as much as possible every day and on a couple of occasions I did see a worker picking up items from lawns.

Trucks were backing on to our lawn every day and causing damage and for some reason they thought it ok to park their vehicles right accross our driveway blocking access.

We were told to expect this, so it came as no surprise. However, I also feel it should not be left to the homeowner to have to pick up the mess left by the workers.
