Can't agree more about people being so negative on this site. We have been planning to move to The Villages when I retire for several years. A good friend who now lives in The Villages (YEAH!!!) created a countdown calendar to retirement for me and when it started I had over 1800 days left to retirement. I posted on TOTV how excited I was to be making plans and someone wrote how ridiculous it was to be planning that far ahead. Well, guess what? I am under 200 days now and SO excited. I read TOTV all the time and just decided when we get there we will enjoy the sunshine (it's 23 degrees here today), enjoy the entertainment and the restaurants and all the activities there are to do and just generally enjoy our retirement. And I'm pretty sure we'll make more friends who feel the same way. See you on the Square!

I love this place. Today, it was in the seventies, and I enjoyed being about, in shorts and short sleeve shirt and sandals. Tomorrow, it's the polo ponnies match. I live very close to thwe polo field. It doesn't get better than this!

I have had enough snow, to last me three lifetimes. You don't have to shovel sunshine.
