I was at the polo match and with a stong wind and it was chilly. I had a sweatshirt and light jacket but wasn't thinking of the wind chill factor because I would have worn a heavier jacket with a hat. It's very doable.
I used to be amsed when villagers said it was cold when I was up north, as I was siting at my desk, looking out at the snow coming down and temps were in single digits.
Now that I am here, I have goten use to the warmer temperatures and it does get chilly as I am used to always wearing shorts and t-shirt with sandals.
I think both sides are right in feeling the cold, but it much easier in TV, just to wear tha appropriate clothing and do, what you want to do. It's much more preferable than the snow and the hazarous road conditions one has to deal with. IMHO
