This is a great idea. My mother, sister and I all worked for NY Telephone Co. They worked in Operator Services, I started there and transferred to Commercial (the business office). Mom would have been interested to see what my job demanded. I would tell her, but seeing is better. By the way, we all retired from the same Company, but under different branding. Mom from NYT, sis from Bell Atlantic and I from Verizon.
My daughter is an Educational Technology Specialist (big title, huh?) for a 9 building school district on LI. All that means is that she teaches Teachers how to use all the new technology available to them in their classroom and integrate it with her/his lessons. I've seen what she does and as always, I'm proud of her and the good work ethic she has. That makes both of us happy.
