DD muffins cost about $1.53 and would buy one rather than buy two donuts. For the price of two donuts that you mentioned, I would have turned around and gone to a diner and paid a litle extra for two eggs, etc.

I have been looking for a water bottle, made from a strong plastic for the gym. I have seen them for about $9.00 or more. When we were kids, they were probably a buck or two, and still made a humongus profit, as they probably cost pennies, for the manufacture to make. Remember, when you could buy a candy bar for a nickel? Today, they cost anywhere from 65 cents to a dollar.

I guess I have been, a caveman too!!!!

Welcome to 2013!!!!
Notice the shrinking bag of sugar used to be 5 lbs.now 4lbs. I used to bake and sew, very expensive; the cost of product is very high......
