There is a wall power outlet directly between the bathroom and closet and we have our tv on a night stand there. However, when we arrive after Xmas we will be having a power outlet and cable outlet installed about 5 ft up on that wall for the TV and then will put a small shelf under the tv for the satellite box.

If your not planning on having an optical disc reader in the room, stash the satellite box behind the TV. They aren't pretty enough to look at if you don't have to
