You want TEDS brand support hose; thigh-high if her weight is not too heavy & knee-high if she is. Make sure you measure her thigh/calf 1st. I saw some at Walmart near the Pharmacy but for better selection I'd go to the other stores mentioned. Someone at the nursing facility should have helped you. BTW I worked on a surgical floor for 17 years. I have a tip on how to put them on if you need help when she gets home. Make sure they take the hose off for a rest period when she is bathed & sometime in the evening, about 1/2-1 hour. If the hospital didn't teach her, have her do about 5 foot circles every hour--pulling her toes towards her to stretch her calves then around & down like on a clock.
