There's A Couple Down On 441, But...
...boy, are they EXPENSIVE!
When I said goodbye to our laundry-dry cleaner in north suburban Chicago before we left for TV, she asked where I was moving. When I told her Florida, she replied, "Oh, are you going to pay more for cleaning there." She was so right. How about $2 for a shirt laundering, $4.50 to wash and press a pair of chinos, and on and on.
I think the reason there are so few laundry-dry cleaners is that they're so doggone expensive that no one uses them.
On the other hand, why do I need a laundry-cleaners if all I wear is a golf shirt and shorts?
