Pasta is NOT bad for you
As a foodie and a Diabetic, I still say this is an Italian restaurant and pasta rules the day and the menu. It does not hurt your diet to treat yourself to the pasta. It is low on the glycemic index. You cannot expect a restaurant to "give" you $1.50 in veggies in exchange for $.25 pasta. If he does that, he has to pick that up off of someone else in some way.
