Leather. Improves in character as used and ages. Easy to clean. Stay with natural VS dyed colors....doesn't matter dark or light....what ever matches your need.
Summer and winter characteristics of leather...in either case it is a lot more forgiving than than folks say.
And if it is good for cowboys the world over....there must be a good reason.....eh?
