The Village Voices Christmas Concert last night.
I wish I knew how to start or how to praise. This group who has been singing under the direction of Dr. Sandra Willitts for ten years cannot be any more perfect. They are the largest senior chorus in the U.S. and have 140 men and women who are all auditioned, selected, trained, and talented to the utmost. Their average age is 74.
Last night they delighted a sold out audience of 1200 with beautiful, traditional and some unheard (to us) Christmas music. They brought the audience to both laughter and tears and sang their hearts out to people who could not keep from tapping their toes and wiping their eyes at times.
Thank you dear wonderful singers. The heavenly angels surely cannot do better.
And Merry Christmas.
