A very very dangerous courtesy
We discussed this a long time ago, but it's worth bringing up again. Motorists who stop and wave golf carts across or through an intersection. BAD MOVE. As well intended as this gesutre is, neither the car driver or the cart driver knows what other traffic is going to do. Likewise, other drivers do not know that the cart has been waved across and don[t know to stop. Yesterday, I had "the passenger" in a car wave me across. Not the driver, mind you, but the passenger. The best thing for everybody to do is just allow the "right of way" system to work. This is a particular hazard at traffic circles where all auto traffic is expected to keep moving. :cop:
