I remember the bubble lights! Loved them! But hated the tinsel! 3 strands per branch - one on each branch tip! The tinsel meister declared it to be so! Loved it years later when mom switched to the tinsel-like garland!

Back to bubble lights...was delighted a couple of years ago when I found a night light with one bubble lamp! It now adorns our kitchen every december!
