Talk of the Villages home page, go to the top and click on CHAT

You will be redirected to another page that will download...

You will then see a blue screen that will say welcome with your name..

The screen on the right will have the names of the people in the chat room.

You will see one large blue screen and a smaller one on the bottom of that page...

Click in the smaller bottom screen, then type your message..

You can either hit enter on your keyboard, or hit the send button on the right of the text box..

There are also other buttons near the bottom box..The smiley button will give you a choice of smilies to insert with your text.. ;D > 8) ??? :-* :'( :edit: :dontknow: :cop: :verymad: :joke: :bigthumbsup: :#1:

After you type your text, click the smiley button and click on the smiley you like, it will automatically insert that smiley into your text message.

[size=10pt]The "B" button will make your type look bold..[/size]

The "I" button will italicize your text..

The color box will change your type to any color you click on.
