Against other TOTV posters?

Is it possible to disagree with a message without shooting the messenger, or do some posters deserve chastising, i.e. to be called-out?
Are there any topics that pass moderator muster that should be banned or roundly disagreed with by TOTV posters as being totally inappropriate?
Is hijacking a thread a form of cyberbullying?
If there is cyberbullying, do you think the people doing the bulling recognize it, and is it overt/explicit or covert/subtle? Mean spirited?
Does tone effect the message? What is the proper decorum?
Does introspection and conversation on cyberbullying lead anywhere?
What is TOTV’s responsibility?
Your opinion please.

It just reminds me of the old high school days whereby immature girls , unhappy with their own lives, picked on the most pickable (usually the nicest and kindest of the bunch).
Perhaps most of the problems that such people have is with themselves.
Perhaps they think they are truly being humorous. NOT.
They walk around with a huge chip on their shoulders and the only sense of empowerment they have is seeing that they can actually affect others. Since there is no love or compassion "within" to affect others in a positive way, they hurt and destroy and take if they can.** A form of validation for their own inner being, thinking they won't be ignored. Sometimes I picture them having one too many "nightcaps" when these "hurts" are blurted out.
**No one can take another's self esteem or inner truth; it's not that easy. Just don't allow it.
That said, it has also crossed my mind that these bullies latch on to what they perceive to be a power figure or more popular immature "girl"........for whatever reason that might be.....and thereby form a clique. In inner cities, it might be called a "gang". They tend to gang up on what they perceive to be the weakest.
At our ripe old age in life, we've seen it all and take it from whence it comes, with a grain of salt. But truly immature for posters on TOTV who enjoy misinterpreting and taking things out of context, without truly comprehending what a poster is attempting to relay.
Words are very powerful tools which can be miscontrued easily.........but those who are sensitive do get the gist of the "dig" or "slight" as it is intended.
Joshing, kidding and teasing in a lighthearted manner are not bullying.......they are a form of affection......but there is a fine line between hurting someone's feelings and goodhearted teasing.....knowing the person has a good sense of humor and might enjoy the banter back and forth.
People our age do know the difference........or should.
Immaturity is indeed out there in the world, even among retirees, as I can easily see. There lies the reason for bullying. They feel empowered and part of a larger group. However, they are truly perceived otherwise, if only they knew.
