Do people in south Florida swim in their pools at this time of year?
We have a pool with a spa connected. The water can flow from the spa to the pool or, in spa mode, the water only circulates to the spa. Even in the winter the solar can get the hot tub up to 100 degrees in a few hours. That's because the total volume of this mode is about 500 gallons of water as opposed to the 11,000 gallons for the spa/pool combo. So in the winter, it's the spa with a quick dip after into the 77 degree water. Then the spa water is dumped into the pool and raises it about 1 degree.
