Unhappy CFL Light Bulbs and the Environment

I think the explosion of CFL light bulbs could very well turn into a nightmare. Yes, they last long and are less expensive to use. They do, however, contain mercury. To my knowledge, no one is recycling them and if you break one or better yet, there is no way they won't contaminate our landfills and wherever else they are thrown.

Yes, the "new' use of CFLs could be the opening of another Pandora's Box.
