Well, The Daily Sun had an article regarding 3 burglary incidents in The Villages in today's issue.

The one on Allaire Loop was confusing. It said the homeowners arrived to find a garage door open. Does that mean they accidentally left the garage door open when they left or was it a small side door? First thing I would be asking - after which door was open, would be to see if they had any workmen in the house recently who knew a small safe was there.

The first mentioned in the article was someone called the police because "some change" was missing from his car - that he was unsure if the car was locked or not. Some change was missing? Unless it was a large container of change on the seat, who would know they were missing change? I keep a small baggie of quarters in the side pocket for meters but that is out of view and I would not know it was gone until I reached for it - and there is not more than $2.50 in it. Sounds strange, doesn't it?

The one on Adrienne Way sounds like the door was pried open.
