Go back to what the OP on this thread was told. It's can't be advertised. Oh really, allegedly the only company that will insure rented golf carts doesn't want anybody to know about it. Does that make any sense at all. So the fewer policies Allstate sells the happier they are? Then they go on to tell their insured there are ways to add it to the house but we just can't tell you about it, really! Para legals research it? That's nonsense.
The simple response is to ask the agent or agents staff person to put all of this in writing. Since it must happen all the time, wouldn't they have a form clearly explaining all this. The only written document you have is the Allstate policy. If it's not in there, where is the language granting coverage?

I will get out my reading glasses and a magnifying glass and read ALL the fine print. We do have coverage but I'm trying to find where it says it can't be advertised that our rental comes with a golf cart.
The scary thing is that if we made a claim and they wouldn't cover it, they have more and bigger lawyers than we have.
