I have a Garmin 2555LMT GPS with the latest maps loaded on it and it consistently is more confused here in TV than I am. Although I have been here for 4 years and know my way around, my wife and I laugh sometimes at the suggested routes it wants us to take to get to our villa in Pennecamp.
I have used it a couple of times when exploring a new village such as going to see the Christmas displays, but basically I just used it to check the max. speed of my golf cart.
When you get here, start by exploring places and golf courses near you and then expand your circle. The Villages is pretty easy to navigate around once you become familiar with some of the main cart path routes.
