Well I did make a claim last year and OC claimed they inspected my roof and claimed that the type of defective shingle was not used on my house.
After reading this thread I think I may re-investigate.
for those of you who suggest a class action suit better get started now. There was a company out of Pennsylvania that had the same sort of problem back in the late 90's and they did some really unethical things to avoid the issue. It took a class action suit to get them to honor their warranty. And don't let them tell you that they will replace only the defective shingles that is what this PA company tried to do if they paid at all.
