I've read great things about this series, so I decided to start from the beginning on amazon streaming. I watched about half an hour of the first episode. I was intrigued somewhat, but they talk so fast with a British accent, I felt like I was missing a lot. I had to pause and rewind several times and still couldn't get what they were saying. Maybe it's because I'm a born and raised southerner, but I struggled with this and gave up. Did anyone else have this problem? Was it worth it to keep watching? I can't decide whether I'll get used to it and suddenly understand them, or just feel like I'm missing 25% of the dialog and keep watching anyway.
To catch up I bought Season 1 and will be buying Season 2 from Amazon. Somehow I found out how to put the closed captioning on which helped a lot in watching Season 1. I got hooked on Downton Abbey last year during Season 3. Looking forward to Season 4 tonight!
