My boy died and I was heartbroken. He was a shih tzu and my baby and my best friend. It was just so sad and lonely without him. I got my Toby two weeks later. I still miss my boy but I love my Toby and he helped fill the sadness and loneliness. Puppies are a lot of work. I forgot how much work they are. But they are so darn cute. They are babies and everyone loves babies. And shih tzu babies are the cutest. It was hard taking that first step and bringing home another dog. I somehow felt disloyal to my boy. But I love dogs and I missed the company and I would be giving another dog a loving forever home. In fact, after I got Toby, I brought Maggie, another Shih tzu puppy , home a year later. I now have two shih tzu kids! So my advice is to take that big step and bring another fur baby into your home. You won't regret it, I promise. I so promise!
