We just stumbled across a display at our local Costco which had a sample of a "clear view" (clear vue?) shutter.

Like the traditional shutter but with out the center rod. small nearly invisivle metal strips go along the outside of each shutter and you open and close by simply tilting any of the louvers and they all follow suit.

I loved them!!

Anyone have these in TV? Through whom did you purchase them?

I would love more information from owners!
