Gas vs. Electric
First, check your electric panel to see if you already have "fuses" for the range and dryer. We have gas in the Village of Largo and they also set it up so we could easily convert to an electric range and dryer if we wished. (The plugs are already in place) My wife wanted a flat-top electric range so we converted this past year. We kept the gas dryer because we had no reason to change it. Some say that gas is less expensive than electric but I think it comes down to personal preference. We are fortunate to have a choice since all of the new houses are all electric.
