Hello, I've been lurking around here since last winter when we came down for a month. We're soon coming down for two months. If we weren't Canadians, I think I would move there permanently.
I'm hoping maybe someone can help me find a sewing group that would welcome a visitor for a couple of months. Here at home a bunch of us meet once a week to work on sewing and quilting projects and socialize. Though some days I think its more socializing than anything. I would love to be able to continue with my sewing for the months I'm here. I see there are quilting guilds but I find that some quilt guilds are a bit more serious sewers than I am.
I'll be in Amelia so something in that general area would be great but I'm willing to travel a bit.
