In the "olden days" the best coffee I ever had was at the NY Athletic Club where we were told they scoured each pot or urn after every use, and they never used expensive coffee.
(My friend's boss was a member. Great meals too.)
Nowadays, for me, as a lover of strong coffee, the very very best is Keurig Sumatran Blend, by far.
