In 2013 I paid $2736 for a patio villa in Fernandina; this included taxes and bond. Since I applied for a Homestead deduction in 11/13, my new rate for 2014 has been reduced by about $534 to $2202. By paying in full by November each year, I get the full discount. When I applied, the property tax people estimated that I would save about $500 on a patio villa and their estimate was close.
