This is classic customer abuse. Some customers are having their homes reshingled becasue the Owens Corning Oakridge shingles were "no good". Some are getting labor and material covered and some are not even though the conditions are exactly the same, (e,g, timing, length of time, same warranties, etc.etc.). OC will pay for shingles but customer must pay for labor. allegedly some of this is in violation of Anti Trust cases where customers are to be treated equally. It would appear OC is shooting from hip in some cases. As an example I believe the warranty states they will not be responsible for the removal of the shingles but ignores who is responsible for the installation???
They just say the customer is responsible for ALL labor which is about 60-65% of the costs of replacements.
Hopefully, the POA is continuing their evaluation of a Class Action suit against this alleged crime against Seniors.
