Polo is very popular among the family. Jennifer Parr, Gary Morse's daughter and VP of Sales for The Villages, is a rated player who plays at the club. Jim Parr, Jennifer's husband and general counsel for The Villages, is also a rated player who plays frequently in tournaments here. Paige Boone, Gary Morse's granddaughter and Jennifer Parr's daughter, is the highest rated female player in central Florida and Assistant Manager of the polo club. Paige, a fan favorite, plays almost every weekend in tournaments at the Polo Club.
I'm not even certain that The Villages owns the polo stadium facility. I think it may be owned by a corporate entity formed to own and operate the club.
The club and facility are widely known as the highest quality 'low goal' polo operation in the country. The chance that it would be developed residentially has zero probability.
