This piece is quite wonderful and I would like to see it printed on the front page of The Sun for all to read.
Several years ago I was talking to a British friend of ours whose nephew is in the British Navy and was sent to Iraq as an ambulance driver. His reaction to the American forces was so much like this French reaction. He saw us as never before, but he was even more amazed at the "tuck" boxes the Americans received every day from the US. By this he meant the continuous arrival of packages from America containing everything a soldier would need for this awful assignment. He commented to his relative that the Americans are more than generous and share their good fortune and "tuck" with everyone.
