I had never seen pavers installed on top of a concrete driveway until I moved here. It makes me a bit leery. Yes, I've seen them do it that way on a patio, but foot traffic is nothing like the weight of two or more cars. There is only one correct way to install pavers and that is to remove the concrete and start from scratch with them set in sand; and by the way -- only by a company who knows what they are doing.
