I've noticed the same thing. Maybe snowbirds, who feel they must get everywhere, as fast as they can, so as to not miss anything? On the other hand, some people have no patience.
I've noticed increased traffic in general, so it pays to be careful out there. For us residents, we have all the time in the world so I let them pass, and go on my merry way and not be peturbed.
I use to feel before being retired, that I had to get anywhere, as fast as I could. Being retired now means, I will enjoy the ride, and plan accordingly for enough time, to get to my destination.
