Especially if you are a sports fan, directv is the only game in town. It has the best packages, for what you pay. The service rarely goes out, but when it does, it's only about 10 to 15 minutes. Ususally, heavy cloud cover with heavy rain, will cause this problem. Mostly, in the rainy summer month of July.
My experience with their customer service left me disenchanted as they could be trained better. For instance, I called a couple of times with the same question and got two different answers. Some of the CS reps will tell you anything to get you off the phone as they seem to be in a rush, to get to the next call.
They have a very good product at reasonable prices, compared to the horror stories on TOTV, about Comcast service. I have found Centuryluink reps to need more training, as they are are a storhouse of misinformation. Some people are there, to just warm their seat.
