Switched from Comcast to Direct TV for the same reason as the OP. Now having the same issues with Direct - prices going up, Weather Channel dropped, and lost the signal today during the storm. We lose the signal at least every day in the summer with the storms. My concern is when tropical storms come through and we lose the signal, oh yeah doesn't matter 'cause I don't have the Weather Channel anymore. I'm going to call and be like CFrance and see if it works.
