TCR, something to know and understand concerning real estate taxes. The tax is calculated on the selling price of a home,,and this is the issue, EVERYTIME it's sold.
If you are considering purchasing a resale (read, used) home the existing tax liability will not be the same tax charged to a new owner. The tax will be recalculated on the selling price.
