Absolutely right! If you are afraid someone might get personal info about you by stealing trash, you would not have put that info in the trash in the first place.
I remember reading a thread a couple of years ago where a woman was going to the airport very early in the morning and put her suitcase at the end of the driveway and went back inside. When she came back out 15 minutes later, it was gone. No one figured out if a "picker" or the garbageman took it. Bottom line was she was very foolish to leave it at end of driveway.
