I have found it handy to have my checkbook handy when setting up a house.

I have been here seven months and I am still doing things needed, around the house. You won't get done in a week, so it's best to do things at a relaxed pace, and enjoy yourselves. Trying ot do everything in the first week or two, will lead to burnout.

BTW - I thought I was married to Walmart, Target and Kohl's for a while.
