They are not part of the European Union so they are not able to trade in the Euro. They still have their own money. There are plenty of change bureaus in the City, but only change just enough to get you through your trip because their money is worthless anywhere else. We have a 1,000 note left which is worth about $4.00. Don't leave with any money, there are plenty of very old people begging in the streets, it's a very poor country.
