Bogart, Let me know how you like the electric. I drove a new Yamaha The Drive gas model and it was like driving my car. It rode great and was rather quiet, however I feel that after a while it may get a little noiser. The electric on the other hand is quiet, but how faaaar can you go???? We rented a gas yamaha in July and we drove it everywhere, without any worry. Thanks Bama
