As far as taking a dog for a walk--just make sure you are keeping the dog off private property. Simple- if you don't own it and it is not public property keep your dog off the property. I can tell you that if everyone would do that this would be a dog friendly area. If you walk your dog down the street--don't let him go in the neighbors yard, not difficult. Actually it is a pretty simple task, especially since you have them on a leash.
Have them go in your own yard, walk on street until you get to a sidewalk and proceed. Dog friendly--I have two dogs Maltese and Yorkie and we love dogs!
