Just a couple of things to note: If everyone picked up there phones and called out at the same time there is not and never will be capacity to handle this. NEVER has there been this, even with landlines. Problem being that Verizon has been upgrading their service and will continue. We were in Hadley last month and could not get service in the house but could outside....that is a SIGNAL strength problem(tower). Dropped calls could be the same problem. All cell providers need to continue to upgrade their service !!! BTW,,wasn't familiar with *228,,,I will investigate. Good Luck all!!
