Ever since we retired, we are both up early.....between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Obviously, beginning the day so early leads to an early bedtime as well. Truthfully though, mornings are a beautiful and peaceful time.

I think naps become common at our age also........although we used to get a kick out of our elderly neighbors "napping" at barbecues, etc. or at parties........now we know why.

We had one sweetheart of an elderly neighbor who , I swear, would nap while driving us to the airport for our trip to Disney World each spring school vacation.........he'd laugh and say it was because he was up so early at 3 a.m. each morning........and he was a farm boy who had to feed the chickens when younger.

What is nice about retirement is that it doesn't matter what time schedule one keeps.
