We didn't notice anything unusual until we heard the screech of tires as the cart going straight slammed on his breaks to avoid striking the cart in front of him. At the same time, the cart in the turning lane suddenly stopped right next to that cart and the driver jumped out and reached into the first cart and tried to grab and strike the driver. He was yelling something but we couldn't hear what they said. The driver being attacked jumped out of his cart and ran around in front of his cart and confronted the other man. They both raised their fists and the original aggressor took a couple of swings but the other man moved back and said something like "I don't want to fight" and "what did I do?" But the first man continue to be aggressive. The light changed and as we were pulling away (I couldn't pull over there) I could see them both rolling on the pavement. Other cars had stopped and we saw a police car coming down Morse so I assume it was stopped. Another case of apparent road rage gone bad. Very sad and disturbing to see this behavior on a public road here in TV.

This is never good but happens more often than any of us would like to see.
We can indeed safely assume there was probably some alcohol involved ...but what other factors explain this kind of idiotic behavior??
-- crotchety old people?
-- some level of early dementia?
-- used to driving a certain way in NYC or something?
-- some people are just plain obnoxious?
