In TN everybody waves to you... they don't give you the one finger solute. I lived in the NE for a bit and know people can get pretty testy there. Not all but some are in a big hurry all the time. On the other side some retired people will drive in the left land at any speed they choose and that is annoying too. If someone wants to get by I just move over and let them and would expect the same from others.  |
In Ohio too, mostly, but some folks have moved in from other areas. I do not recall being honked at for daydreaming at a stop sign or stop light in my whole life in Ohio.
And in Ohio people view stop signs as a place to stop.
In other areas many view stop signs as merely a suggestion.
